I had a lot of old SSD that I wanted to backup to a large server this allowed me to do this task without opening the server. Performance is good at the price.
With the compact size of the device it is very portable. I actually keep it with my emergency setup kit for installing windows as I can see this coming in use with older desktops.
Overall a nice bit of kit for the niche market at a very competitive price.

UASP Unlocks the Potential of Data Transmission
Normal USB 2.0 can reach maximum of 480Mbps≈60MB/s, actually much lower than this value, with UASP, it is very close to this value.
Normal USB3.0 can reach maximum 5Gbps≈500MB/s(Adopt the same 10 Bit transmission mode as SATA), the theoretical value is much higher than USB2.0, but the actual speed will be lower than this value, it may fluctuate at more than 480.
USB3.0 with UASP(USB Attached SCSI Protocol) will break the limits and can reach up to 6Gbps≈600MB/s, compared with the traditional USB3.0, it has improved by 20%.
If the interface of the main device supports 10Gbps output capability and the budget is very limited, then such a choice is very practical.

Simple, small and effective adapter, requires no additional power supply and has already been tested. If you don't need the additional silicone case for the 2.5" HD, you can order it without it. I find this secure storage option useful.
